Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and systems can be very simple to very elaborate and
expensive. Large organizations set up complete data centers, with data streaming real time to
hot-site fully operational DR locations. At the other end of the business spectrum, a small
company may backup critical files daily or weekly, with the actual data storage being the local
bank vault or the owner’s garage!

The SAI DR Kit will get your Emulation system up and running in a very short time!
If SAI did the original setup of your Emulation VAX or Alpha system, we can create a
system DR setup disk that includes Emulation VAX or ALPHA software, virtual disk drives and
the CONFIG file. Using the Emulation DR key and this recovery setup disk, you can reload
Emulation software to another server, use the DR setup disk on this server and began
restoring data from your backup files. Your Emulation system and your VAX software will be
up and running within a short period of time!
